The Relationship Chapter

Hey Miracle Workers!
Thank you all for sharing your thoughtful May Cause Miracles stories with me. I love seeing your Instagram photos, reading your social media updates, and sharing in your experiences through your blog posts.

If you’re enjoying the book and want to take your May Cause Miracles journey to the next level, join me TONIGHT for the beginning of the MCM 6-week course based on the book. And if you live in Canada, take note! This week I begin my Canadian book tour. Wednesday I’m speaking with my friend Danielle Laporte in Vancouver. We’re speaking together again in Victoria on Friday. Then the following week I’m speaking in Toronto!

I hope you enjoyed last week’s video on Week Three of May Cause Miracles. Now we’re on Week Four—which focuses on relationships. The goal for this week is to help you learn to accept all your relationships as divine spiritual assignments. In this video, I’ll guide you to recognize the learning opportunity in all your relationships. As you begin to make this miraculous shift, you’ll become much more accepting in your experience of others.

Enjoy this week’s practice, and please feel free to leave messages or questions about the book in the comments below!

I just coached one of my friends going through a break-up on your lesson about relationships and assignments. More importantly, about forgiveness. After doing so, I miraculously saw two of my former relationships come back to me in ways where I was re-exposed to them and had an opportunity to forgive and let go. I now feel more confident and empowered. Thank you for all your share!

Thanks so much Gabby. I used to be like you in searching out a relationship to fill a void. Last summer I finally fell to my knees as you did, ironically at 29 1/2 years old as I heard you say in your video. And it was such a freeing and loving feeling. I struggle to stay with that inner loving sometimes, and your videos today reminded me to go back within. How do you stay in touch with that inside yourself and not allow the outside world to pull you back into needing outer things? Thanks so much :)

Hi Gabby and thank you for all your books and work- life changer. I have a question. I just started on week two, and I have been waiting, so excited to start this journey. I have prepared with meditating since december, really looking forward to it and so on. Superexcited! But last week and the beginning of this week has been like the worst weeks in a long time for me. So stressed emotionally and really in a bad mood. But I did all the exercises. The bad week does not come from the book exercises (I love the book) but for some reason, when I started the 40 days, my ego has been so hard on me (the hardest ever almost) that I can nearly say I hate myself, hmm. It’s so typical that this bad period should start now, when my intention was to start this amazing journey. My question is; Do you think I should wait a couple of days until it settles a little? So I can meet the book with brighter eyes, so to say? And another question, have you heard of others that have the same problem about this, as I have?
Again, thank you I really love all your books, your talks and the amazing work that you do. Love, T

I made real progress on the relationship chapter with forgiveness both of myself and others – in particular one relationship that I had let myself be hurt in. But as I moved into the finances section, I started to feel the relationship work becoming unstuck. And all the ego’s fears and resentments came back about the one hurtful relationship. It did not help that I was a bit sick – hence little yoga and exercise – and that some yucky financial matters with relatives started cropping up. It was good that I carry around my little journal to read the meditation phrases and some personal positive mantras of my own. My experience has been super so far. Thanks, Gabby!
